Soft foam materials are formed by physical foaming or cross-linked foaming from plastics (PE, EVA, etc.), rubber (SBR, CR, etc.) with addition of a catalyst, foam stabilizer, foaming agent and other additives, to produce large amounts of fine foams in plastics and rubber. Due to the fine foams, the volume increases and the density decreases, so soft foam materials are of light weight and good flexibility. Also, they have features of cushion, sound adsorption, shock adsorption, thermal insulation and filtering. Consequently, they are widely used in electronics, home appliances, automobiles, sports and leisure industries and so on.
